From Drew Peterson:
Drew Peterson received his BFA from the University of Minnesota and his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Formally a lecturer in printmaking and drawing at the University of Minnesota, he joined Juxtaposition Arts as the Director of Creative Services in 2022.
His work has been featured in solo exhibitions at TOA Presents (Minneapolis), Rosalux Gallery (Minneapolis), The Burnet Gallery (Minneapolis), Public Functionary (Minneapolis), Kiehle Gallery at St. Cloud State University, Sabina Lee Gallery (Los Angeles) and Twist Gallery (Nashville). Recent group exhibitions include “Future Future” at Hair + Nails (Minneapolis), “Outstanding Affiliates” at the University of Wyoming and “Octillo” at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture.
Peterson was named a McKnight Printmaking Fellow in 2020. He received Artist Initiative grants in 2011, 2018 and 2020, as well as an Arts Learning grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board in 2017. Additional grants include the Next Step Grant through the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council and a Visual Arts Fund grant from Midway Contemporary Art through the Andy Warhol Foundation.
