Trompe L'Oeil that simply stuns in it nod to art, vintage and the fine art of Oil Painting.
About Michael Bane:
Michael Bane is an American artist whose work merges technical mastery with emotional depth. Known for his distinctive style and his reimagining of iconic works, Bane often pays homage to the artists who inspire him while creating original, thought-provoking compositions
that explore the boundary between reality and imagination.
His paintings—collected both nationally and internationally—can be found in several U.S. museum collections and private holdings. As co-owner of McCans-Bane Gallery in Fort Worth, Texas, he not only exhibited his own work but also curated and participated in numerous shows across the country, including the Hamptons Fine Art Fair (Southampton, NY), Art Expo New York (New York, NY), Walter Wickiser Gallery (New York, NY), Carlsbad Museum of Art (Carlsbad, NM), The Museum of Fine Art (Longview, TX), and OJC Museum (Albany, TX). He was also a featured artist with Artspace 111 at Art Dallas for two consecutive years.
Bane’s work evokes a quiet sense of longing—a search for perfection in the ordinary. Executed in a precise photorealistic style, his paintings invite viewers into a dreamlike world where the familiar becomes fantastical. Through this tension between the real and the ideal, he captures the beauty and melancholy that coexist in everyday life.
